LongBeachEvents.com is a web site where local Long Beach residents can find information about upcoming events through a customized 'my-yahoo' like portal. Users who visit the site can customize the content to reflect their local interests and can automatically receive personalized email about upcoming events. Local advertising is also customized to the user's interests and/or an event's subject matter.

Coordinated the day to day activities of the Rebates site development team to meet deadlines and deliverables. Developed user navigation and functionality specifications, designed a front-end system for an e-commerce store and coordinated with Java programmers to integrate HTML templates with the back-end system.

This interactive piece was a reference guide promoting many of the top restaurants, hotels and entertainment establishments in Los Angeles. With video showcases, celebrity reviews and a note pad to save and print addresses and directions, this reference guide was one of the earliest interactive CD-ROMs of its kind.
